Site Prep

Site preparation is the process of getting your property ready for construction. It turns raw land (or an existing homesite) into a clean, stable, build-ready surface that can properly support your new home.

What Does Site Prep Include?

1. Land Clearing
We remove trees, brush and stumps from the building area. This creates space for the house, driveway, and any additional features like shops or outdoor areas.

2. Rough Grading
The land is shaped to establish the general layout and elevation of the site. This ensures proper drainage—so water flows away from your future home, not toward it.

3. Excavation
We dig for the foundation, crawlspace, or basement.

4. Utility Preparation
Trenches may be dug for water, power, septic, or sewer connections.

5. Soil Compaction & Stabilization
If necessary the ground is compacted to create a solid base that won’t settle or shift over time.

6. Driveway & Access

We build permanent and/or temporary access roads so crews, materials, and equipment can safely reach the site.
